Cast of Characters

An intelligent, deceptive man suspects that his wealthy, attractive wife is unfaithful and makes arrangements for her murder. When his plans unravel and his wife manages to survive, he executes a Plan B that he is confident will accomplish the task nicely.  Will her lover be able to uncover the truth, and save her from certain death?

Margo Wendice – the wealthy, attractive wife, married to Tony, and having an affair with Max.

Max Halliday – a published author and Margo’s lover.

Tony  Wendice – Margo’s husband. It is suggested that Tony married Margo for her money, and is a polished, cultured, educated, cunning man with impeccable taste and manners.

Captain Lesgate -  someone from Tony’s past. A man with the same background as Tony, but was involved in a scandal while a student at college that called his character in question, and has who has fallen upon hard times.

Inspecter Hubbard – A Chief Inspector in charge of the Criminal Investigation of this case.  A perceptive, inquisitive, observant and very logical sort of person.

Thompson –  the dedicated, dutiful policeman assigned to the Inspector.
